Nature

I'm not a naturalist, or a botanist, or a zoologist, so I'm not even going to try to compile a catalog of correctly-identified flora and fauna. I simply enjoy the natural world, and I photograph anything I see out there that appeals to me visually. Most of the images in this section are, in some sense, "natural tapestries" - images in which plants of various sorts are featured in such a way that they become almost abstract patterns or textures. I enjoy making images of this kind, and I hope that you will enjoy viewing them. If not, skip this pretentious nonsense and go directly to the "Wales" section, which has lots of mountains, some nice little trains, and some profoundly self-indulgent childhood reminiscences.
